SMS Enquiry Notifications
Receive instant SMS alerts when new buyer enquiries are received for your listings.
SMS Enquiry Notifications send you an instant text message when a buyer submits an enquiry on any of your listings. This ensures you can respond quickly — critical in a competitive market where buyer attention is short-lived.
Setting Up SMS Notifications
- 1Navigate to Agent Portal → Profile.
- 2Scroll to SMS Notifications.
- 3Enter your NZ mobile number in international format (e.g., +64 21 123 4567).
- 4Toggle Enable SMS notifications to on.
- 5Click Save.
SMS Message Content
Each SMS contains a 80-character preview of the buyer's message (truncated at a word boundary), the property address, and a deep link to the listing's enquiry panel:

All SMS messages include a one-line opt-out instruction as required by the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. The opt-out link disables SMS notifications for your account.
5-Minute De-duplication
A 5-minute de-duplication window prevents SMS spam if a buyer submits multiple enquiries in quick succession. Only the first enquiry within any 5-minute window triggers an SMS. All enquiries are still captured in the portal regardless of whether an SMS was sent.
Deep Link to Enquiry
The SMS includes a direct link to the listing's enquiry tab (e.g., `innora.co.nz/agent/listings/[id]#enquiries`). Tapping the link on your phone opens the listing directly in your browser with the enquiry panel in focus.
