The Defects Tracker is a digital punch list for recording, assigning, and tracking the resolution of construction defects. It is used at practical completion and during the defects liability period.

Logging a Defect

  1. 1In the project workspace, select the Defects tab.
  2. 2Click + New Defect.
  3. 3Enter: location (e.g., Level 2 / Unit 3 / Kitchen), description, trade responsible, and priority (Critical / High / Medium / Low).
  4. 4Attach photos from the site — images are stored in the project record.
  5. 5Set a Required Completion Date.
  6. 6Click Create.

Exporting the Punch List

Use Export Defect Report to generate a PDF punch list suitable for providing to the principal contractor, subcontractors, or inclusion in the practical completion documentation.
